Dermatologic Surgery
Dr Moodley is Fellowship trained in dermatologic surgery. A Dermatologic Surgeon is skilled in the diagnosis and surgical management of diseases of the skin, hair and nails; benign and malignant skin tumours; ageing and sun-damaged skin as well as cosmetic improvement of the skin.
Mohs Micrographic Surgery
A skin cancer often resembles a "tip of the iceberg" with more tumour cells growing downward and outward into the skin, like the roots of a tree. These "roots" are not visible with the naked eye but can be seen under a microscope. Mohs Surgery has the highest cure rate of all treatment modalities for the treatment of skin cancer.
Cosmetic Dermotology
